What does Israel want to do with Palestine?

Palestinians face an uncertain future. It is needless to say what price the Palestinians will have to pay for attacking Israel. In the meantime, Israel is advancing to take control of Gaza by crushing the border. Many things, including US warships, are now rushing to Israel’s defense. This attack by Hamas of Palestine has shaken many fears of Israel. 270 people died in one event in Israel. It is said that more than a thousand people have died in Israel. The people of Israel have not seen so much death in many ages. Israel could never have imagined that Hamas would cause so much damage by crushing all of Israel’s modern strategies. Hamas has abducted hundreds of Israelis. Thousands of Palestinians are imprisoned in Israel. Hamas usually gets them out by negotiation. Will it be the same this time? Whether something worse awaits Palestine is now for the world to see.
Israel last launched its operation to destroy Gaza under the name ‘Operation Protective Edge’ in 2014. With this name, they carried out massacres for months. In the words of the Israelis, their campaign to end the terrorist organization ‘Hamas’. Their goal is to eliminate Hamas forever. Israel continues to carry out attack after attack on its allied imperialist powers. Different countries of the world were watching like silent spectators. All the countries that were supposed to speak against Israel were also silent. American imperialism and developed countries, it is surprising that the support of the Arab countries is in favor of Israel! This time is no exception. Different countries of the world are sitting in front of the door. Everyone is sure that Israel is going to take extreme revenge. No country is talking. Many countries around the world pretend not to see Israel’s brutal torture of Palestinians for years. Even Muslim countries!
A small Palestinian state of 6,220 square kilometers. After years of fighting for freedom, they got state recognition. Next to it is Israel, another Jewish state of 22 thousand square kilometers. The problem of land grabbing is not new. Israel cannot accept a Palestinian state in any way. Israel’s occupation has been going on for years. There have been dozens of major battles over the past 50 years for the Palestinians to take full Israeli control of Gaza.
The power of Israel is the imperialist states. The Arab states sided with the Palestinians. But since 2014, many things have changed. “Hamas” has been presented to the whole world as a terrorist organization, including Israel-America and the Arab states! Consequently, Hamas must be destroyed at any cost. So, with the support of the world’s superpowers, Israel began to destroy Gaza. The initial step was ‘Operation Protective Edge. This may be the final victory of Israel. Is the destruction of Hamas their goal? Or occupied Gaza? This question is coming back now. The mission to empty Gazan of Palestinians by indiscriminate bombing has begun. Israel’s main goal now is to take control of Gaza in the name of destroying Hamas.
The Jewish-Muslim conflict is many years old. There is a web of mystery about how two nations came to one place. According to historians, Israel flew and sat down. It was the forces behind them that introduced such a terrorist state in the Arab world.
One day after the Second World War in 1947, the people of this region of the Arab world heard that the Palestinian nation, which had been living for ages, would be evicted. Because according to the UN system, the land has been divided. Jews will take Haifa from Tel Aviv. Here was the rule of the British and the Palestinians. On the other hand, the West Bank, Gaza, Galilee will belong to the Palestinians. In the middle, Jerusalem will be in the hands of international rulers. On May 14, 1948, the British surrendered. The new country ‘Israel’ was declared. And with the rise of Israel, the fight flared up. Weapons spread from hand to hand. The struggle to protect the motherland began. But the war is no longer won.
The monster called Israel began to take over the land one by one. The Arab world does not stand still. Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Palestine are all competing for land. Jordan took the West Bank, Egypt took Gaza. This is how history went. After the Arab-Israeli war in 1948, Palestinian settlements were being built in the corners of different countries. Various camps were formed in silence. From all those camps, the attacks against Israel began to intensify.
The Arab League was formed in 1964 under the leadership of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser. And the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was born under the umbrella of the Arab League. In 1967, Israel attacked Egypt. But even Jordan-Egypt could not defeat Israel. Basically, after the defeat of Jordan-Egypt, the Palestinians started to think about their future.
In 1969, the PLO broke out of the Arab League umbrella with a small number of guerrilla fighters of its own. The PLO began to organize under the leadership of Yasser Arafat. Many Arab countries did not take Yasser Arafat’s call for granted. In 1970, Jordan launched a surprise attack by Palestinian guerrillas. Thousands of Palestinians lost their lives in the Jordanian attack called ‘Black September Crackdown’. Israel is happy with this work of Jordan. For a long time, the Palestinians thought that Israel was their only enemy. But Jordan is also not a vessel to give them concessions. After Jordan, Israel does not sit still.
The invasion of Lebanon in 1982 showed that they were always going to get there. American support for Israel comes out publicly. At that time, when Israel was desperate to catch Arafat, the PLO announced that “Palestine is an independent state and Jerusalem is its capital” sitting in Algeria in 1988. In 1989, Arafat was declared the president of the independent Palestinian state. Since then, the journey of the Palestinians began. The United Nations came to the side of the Palestinians.
In 1993, the PLO meeting with America, Israel and Norway shocked a large part of the Palestinians. It was too late for Arafat to accept the ‘Oslo Accord’ by thumbing his thumb at the long-standing demands of the Palestinians. A large part of the guerrillas could not accept such a surrender to Israel. In 1994, Harkat al-Muqawammah al-Islamiyyah (Hamas) was born.
They vowed that Israel would be killed step by step through militant means. Thousands of Palestinians continue to sign up to Hamas against Israel to commit suicide. And the fear of human bombs continued to spread in Israel. Even after the birth of Hamas, Israel did not fight a major war because of Arafat for a long time. After the death of Arafat, the popularity of Hamas increased. Fear increases in Israel. Israel attacked Gaza in 2008, 2009, 2012. In 2014, a large-scale attack began. In 2023, Hamas gave the last death bite. It is said that they were secretly preparing for a major attack on Israel for many years.##
