This remarkable achievement was made possible by “Neuralink,” the tech giant company founded by Elon Musk. On January 28, microchips were implanted in the human brain, primarily aiming to assist paralyzed and visually impaired individuals in their daily lives. Although this development represents a significant milestone in human robotics, its capabilities are currently limited. Neuralink has been dedicated to designing and producing advanced microchips specifically tailored for controlling the human brain since 2016. Elon Musk, the founder of Neuralink, expressed his satisfaction with the successful integration of this high-tech chip into the human brain, highlighting its ability to stimulate neurons and elicit responses from nerves. While the initial focus has been on helping paralyzed and blind individuals, scientists envision a future where a human brain with a supercomputer-like capacity of 2.5 petabytes of data storage can be created at a low cost and at a rapid pace. This advancement could greatly facilitate space exploration and the development of potentially dangerous weaponry.
